Very tasty food, great atmosphere in a small restaurant, service very nice, special requests no problem, great value for money (€ 35 for two)!

Service & food is still made with love here, we only come twice a year, but always good. Simple cuisine to get full.

The restaurant is a real insider tip! It's a small but fine restaurant! The dishes on the menu are even freshly prepared! The Kaiserschmarrn is an absolute dream and definitely recommended as a dessert! Great atmosphere and nice service! We will definitely eat here more often :-)

By chance we came across the restaurant and fell in love. In the beginning we had a very tasty salad that was gone within a few minutes, delicious. Everything was fresh, the meat even from the village butcher, which you also tasted. The meat was wonderfully seasoned, very tender and perfectly breaded. The fries are very well salted and in combination with the cream sauce just great. I, who doesn't normally eat mushrooms, ate them first, delicious. There were large portions, for the price you can't complain and the atmosphere was also very nice. Service was also very friendly and in a good mood. By far the best restaurant I have ever visited. A clear recommendation.

We found this great place by chance! At Osman the kitchen is simply delicious! We were on a trip to the Harz and wanted breakfast ... spontaneously we were surprised with sandwiches, boiled eggs, scrambled eggs, coffee and tea full for 10 people !!! Meanwhile, we have been there several times and have tried a variety of dishes, all freshly prepared by the chef personally. The price / performance ratio is great and it just tastes super delicious! The landlord and his staff is super nice and the atmosphere totally comfortable ... small but nice! We are always happy to come back !!!

On our short break at the Center Parcs we were looking for a restaurant off the Center Parcs gourmet mile. Price / performance is in our opinion not there ... in the "Zum Steinbeck" we were not disappointed! It is a small cozy, lovingly furnished restaurant with friendly service. We were welcomed and served. The food was fresh and delicious. No matter if trout, schnitzel or pancakes (called Plinse) ;-) I can only recommend it ... at the next Center Parcs holiday we will eat there again.

We were in August 2018 looking for a restaurant with German cuisine. Through Google Maps we could find this great restaurant. With a cool cyclist and really delicious food, we have the summer evening comfortably on the small terrace end. The menu had something for every taste. The waitress was very friendly and was also open for small talks. We can definitely recommend this place.

Friendly staff, great location with indoor and outdoor seating. Food was very good and my local German guide was quite impressed as well. I had schnitzel and heidesuelze and it came with a fresh crisp salad. Ambiance was traditional and cozy.
